TechFlow news, December 1: Yearn posted a preliminary analysis of the yETH exploit on X platform, noting that around 21:00 UTC on November 30, an incident occurred in the yETH Stableswap liquidity pool, resulting in the unauthorized minting of a large amount of yETH. The issue is unrelated to other Yearn products and does not affect Yearn V2/V3 vaults. Initial estimates indicate total losses of approximately $9 million. Security Alliance and ChainSecurity are now engaged and conducting a comprehensive post-incident investigation. Affected users can submit support tickets via Discord. Preliminary analysis suggests the attack's complexity is similar to the recent Balancer hack, with a detailed report to follow.
