Previously, foreign media reported that the Trump administration has been secretly coordinating with Russia on a new 28-point initiative to end the Ukraine conflict. Trump's envoy Witkoff has been leading the drafting work and held extensive talks with Russian envoy and head of Russia's sovereign wealth fund, Kirill Dmitriev, who is deeply involved in the Kremlin's diplomacy on Ukraine.
