TechFlow news, November 11 — According to The Block, Japanese group Startale and Sony Block Solutions Labs have announced the launch of the Startale App, a unified super app designed as an entry point for users into Sony's Soneium blockchain ecosystem built on Ethereum Layer 2. The app will provide users access to future token generation events (TGEs), airdrops, and rewards.
The Startale App utilizes account abstraction technology to eliminate seed phrases, enable gasless transactions, and simplify wallet management, aiming to address fragmented Web3 user experiences. The app also supports Mini Apps, allowing developers to build applications directly on the network without requiring separate websites.
Sota Watanabe, CEO of Startale Group, stated that the app is compatible with the Ethereum ecosystem and will leverage Japan’s increasingly clear regulatory environment regarding stablecoins and tokenized stocks. Currently, the app is in closed testing, and an official release date has not yet been announced.
