TechFlow news, November 11 — According to Chris Dixon, Managing Partner at a16z Crypto, a16z Crypto has promoted Guy Wuollet to General Partner, making him the firm's fourth general partner.
Guy Wuollet first engaged with a16z in 2018 while studying computer science at Stanford University, initially joining as an intern on the enterprise market team and later becoming a full-time employee in 2020. He focuses on infrastructure, DeFi, and DePIN investments, having participated in over 20 investments including projects such as Solana, LayerZero, Gensyn, EigenLayer, Daylight, and Morpho.
Guy Wuollet is said to have made significant contributions in the DePIN space. Based on investment insights from projects like Orchid, Nym, and Helium, he defined a16z's investment thesis in DePIN and authored key related blog posts.
