TechFlow news, November 4 — Balancer Protocol announced that its V2 Composable Stable Pools have suffered a vulnerability attack. The Balancer team has engaged top security researchers to conduct an investigation and committed to sharing a full post-mortem report as soon as possible. All pause-enabled affected pools have been urgently frozen and placed into recovery mode. Balancer emphasized that this vulnerability is limited to V2 Composable Stable Pools and does not impact Balancer V3 or other pool types. The team also warned users to be vigilant against scams impersonating the Balancer security team; official updates will only be released via its X (Twitter) account and Discord server.
