TechFlow news, November 2 — Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) shared a "weekend builder idea" on X: an AI Judge Companion.
CZ said: "Train an AI to master statutory laws and past cases, then let it provide judgment recommendations for every public case. Laws themselves are public documents, and most court records—including precedents, plaintiff and defendant statements, trial transcripts, final rulings, and possibly even social sentiment data in future versions—are publicly available. Unlike human judges, AI is unaffected by emotions, hunger (before or after lunch), personal opinions, or political stances, thus theoretically enabling more objective decisions.
I don't think any country will adopt such a system in the short term, nor am I claiming AI judges are necessarily 'better'—the key depends on training quality. However, it could become a powerful tool for judges, lawyers, and ordinary litigants, and might also be used in areas like market prediction. The effort required to build such a system isn't actually that large—if someone wants to build it, I'd be happy to invest in a high-quality version."
