TechFlow news, November 2 — MetaMask announced on X that the MetaMask Rewards Program is independent of the future MetaMask TGE. The rewards program has already launched and aims to provide users with tangible, redeemable benefits for their on-chain activities.
According to the announcement, Season 1 of the MetaMask Rewards Program offers over $30 million worth of $LINEA in total rewards. LINEA rewards earned and held during this season will count toward future reward campaigns.
MetaMask emphasized that this is a "first-of-its-kind, long-term on-chain incentive program" that will continuously evolve rather than being a one-time event. Additionally, the future TGE will reward early users (OGs) who have long supported or returned to the MetaMask ecosystem.
The MetaMask team stated: "We already have tens of millions of users, and every update we make has significant impact. Our top priority is ensuring users remain safe, benefit, and continue receiving returns in the on-chain world."
