TechFlow news, October 27 — According to Cointelegraph, President Javier Milei's pro-cryptocurrency party, "La Libertad Avanza," won the midterm elections with 40.68% of the vote, defeating the Peronist party and laying the foundation for Milei's presidential campaign position in the October 2027 election.
The report noted that although Milei had previously been embroiled in controversy over the LIBRA token scandal—whose market value surged to $4.6 billion after his mention, then plummeted by 94%—Argentina's anti-corruption regulator has cleared Milei of any wrongdoing.
