TechFlow news, October 2: Recently, X.me, a Web3 version of the TikTok social media platform, officially announced the completion of a $30 million strategic financing round. The funding was led by Tido Capital, with participation from Genesis Capital, Alpha Capital, Rollman Management, Parallel Ventures, WAGMi Ventures, and Web3vision. The raised funds will be primarily used for the issuance of X.me Foundation's platform token.
The X.me platform incentivizes users to earn XPoints through social activities such as watching videos and interacting. XPoints can later be exchanged for the platform token. Additionally, this financing will support the launch of live streaming features, as well as the development of a public blockchain dedicated to media and a stablecoin.
