TechFlow news, September 30 — According to Bloomberg, David Knox, head of capital markets at PayPal Holdings Inc., has been appointed chief financial officer of Hyperion DeFi Inc., a digital asset treasury company.
Knox, who previously worked at PayPal, SoFi, and Cantor Fitzgerald, said that after researching Hyperliquid and crypto, he views this as an excellent opportunity to engage in financial innovation. The company was formerly Eyenovia, a Nasdaq-listed ophthalmic technology firm, which launched its digital asset treasury strategy in June and rebranded as Hyperion DeFi in July.
