Open Campus has partnered with developer education platforms HackQuest, Rise In, Forbes Web3, and others to launch the EDU Chain Semester 1 hackathon.
Edu Chain is an L3 built on Arbitrum Orbit aimed at creating the first blockchain centered on education. During the hackathon, 32 teams will compete for a total prize pool of $200,000, with main tracks including DeFi and Infrastructure, and secondary tracks including Learn, Earn, Misc, and EduFi.
Winning teams will be selected into the Open Campus Incubator (OCX) for incubation, with each selected project receiving up to $100,000 in funding. Edu Chain is an L3 built on Arbitrum Orbit aimed at creating the first blockchain centered on education.
