Hack Summit is a series of Web3 developer conferences. The 2024 event will take place at Cyberport in Hong Kong from April 9 to April 10, 2024. Marking the first time Hack Summit has been held in Asia since its inception a decade ago, Hong Kong has been selected as the inaugural Asian host city—an important milestone for both Hack VC and the region. Hack Summit 2024 is organized by Hack VC, co-hosted by AltLayer and Berachain, in collaboration with SNZ and Cyberport, and produced by Techub News.
The decision to host Hack VC’s event in Hong Kong stems from the organization's strong presence in North America, aiming to bring together top global Web3 developers with local builders in Hong Kong to foster understanding and collaboration, enriching the local Web3 ecosystem. Additionally, Hack VC values the development potential of the Asia-Pacific region, making Hong Kong an ideal choice.
Dedicated to blockchain developers, Hack Summit held its first conference in 2014 and has historically attracted over 130,000 participants in total. It has established itself as a key gathering in the Web3 industry. The first Asian edition, Hack Summit 2024, will span two days, expecting over 1,000 attendees, and will feature technical talks, policy analysis, roundtable discussions, and more.
Past events have covered core areas of web3 such as Layer 1/Layer 2, DeFi, cross-chain, privacy, and data. This year’s summit will also invite influential figures from trending topics including blockchain infrastructure, DeFi, artificial intelligence, and the Bitcoin ecosystem. As a co-organizer of the event, Alma, founder of Techub News, said that the collision between emerging and established forces will be a major highlight of this year’s summit.
