KUN and Pharos Network Enter Strategic Partnership to Jointly Advance RealFi, RWA, and Cross-Border Payment Infrastructure Innovation
Pharos Network, a Layer 1 infrastructure built for RealFi, and KUN, a trusted industry expert in digital payments, have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership.
Recently in Hong Kong, Pharos Network—a Layer 1 infrastructure purpose-built for RealFi—and KUN, a trusted industry expert in digital payments, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership. Leveraging Pharos’s institutional-grade blockchain infrastructure and KUN’s globally compliant, licensed payment infrastructure, the two parties will deeply integrate their capabilities to advance the tokenization of supply chain credit assets and enable more efficient global settlements via blockchain rails.
Industry Context: Solving Liquidity Challenges for Globalizing Enterprises
Today, small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), especially those expanding overseas—particularly into emerging markets—face severe working capital constraints. Constrained by cumbersome processes, high costs, and fragmented services inherent in traditional trade finance systems, suppliers typically wait 30 to 90 days after delivering goods before receiving payment. This liquidity pressure hampers business expansion. While RWA (real-world asset) tokenization has become an industry hotspot, most current market offerings focus on passive financial products; few projects effectively connect foundational infrastructure with real-world commercial activity and licensed payment distribution networks.
Solution: Deep Integration of Licensed Payment Rails and RealFi Infrastructure
The collaboration between Pharos Network and KUN aims to bridge this gap by bringing supply chain credit and B2B cross-border payments on-chain in a compliant and scalable manner. Initial strategic priorities include:
- Tokenization of supply chain credit assets: unlocking asset liquidity and optimizing corporate cash flow efficiency;
- Native on-chain settlement of digital assets: reducing cross-chain settlement friction using blockchain rails;
- Enterprise-grade virtual card solutions: exploring more flexible enterprise fund usage scenarios;
- Use-case-specific on-chain financial services: delivering compliant on-chain financial services tailored to verticals including commodities, general trade, B2B cross-border e-commerce, services trade, Web3 ecosystems, and AI applications.
Wish Wu, Co-Founder and CEO of Pharos Network, stated: “KUN has built a highly trusted, globally licensed payment network with deep expertise serving emerging markets. Their proven excellence in cross-border digital payments aligns perfectly with Pharos’s vision to build an inclusive RealFi settlement layer. Together, we will bring supply chain assets and cross-border capital flows on-chain—compliantly and accessibly.”
Dr. Louis Liu, Founder and CEO of KUN, stated: “Settlement certainty is RealFi’s last mile. By bridging KUN’s compliant payment rails with Pharos’s high-performance underlying architecture, we can help enterprises efficiently convert on-chain assets into tangible liquidity needed by the real economy—while delivering institutional-grade trust throughout the process. Looking ahead, we will also explore AI-driven intelligent orchestration to further optimize global commercial capital flows and enhance settlement efficiency in emerging markets.”
Pharos’s mainnet has officially launched, with over 50 dApps already actively operating within its ecosystem. This partnership with KUN—linking licensed payment systems with on-chain financial markets—will further cement Pharos’s position as a leading RealFi infrastructure provider.
