Doing the Hard but Right Thing: HTX DAO’s Spring Journey
An exchange’s prosperity is never isolated; it is rooted in the broader industry’s prosperity.
On the evening of March 25, in Shenzhen, Molly—official spokesperson for Huobi HTX and HTX DAO Ambassador—uttered these words at the “Marching Toward Spring · 2026 Web3 Salon Dinner,” prompting a thoughtful, reflective silence among the audience. It was a moment of resonance—a shared recognition that the industry today stands at a pivotal juncture where truth-telling and concrete action are urgently needed.
This marked HTX DAO’s first offline event since the Lunar New Year—and it differed markedly from conventional “crypto events” people are accustomed to. There were no dense brand placements or stereotyped guest appearances on stage. Instead, the evening hosted an in-depth dialogue centered on “AI × Crypto” and the industry’s future—not about what Huobi HTX or HTX DAO has done, but where the industry is headed, and what we practitioners can do to help shape it.
If the Shenzhen salon on March 25 represented HTX DAO’s “rational response” to current industry trends, then HTX DAO’s trip to Huizhou beginning March 26 served as its “emotional response” to community connection. Two events, two languages—both pointing toward the same proposition: co-construction is not just a slogan; it must happen concretely.
A Deep Dialogue Among Builders
Molly did not shy away from the industry’s uncertainties—in fact, she began from them. She said that when prospects remain unclear, forging authentic human connections and meaningful exchanges matters more than chasing short-term hype. It is precisely through repeated face-to-face dialogues that Huobi HTX and HTX DAO continue identifying like-minded partners—those genuinely committed to building the industry. Through sustained investment and deep engagement, they push the industry forward, a mission Huobi HTX and HTX DAO have consistently pursued.
Beyond Molly’s remarks, several industry thought leaders—including KOLs Vito, Cloud, and Yu Jialing—delivered high-density insights. Topics spanned entrepreneurial opportunities at the intersection of AI and crypto, new trading paradigms in the AI era, and the financial narrative around RWA tokenization—covering some of Web3’s most cutting-edge thematic threads. During the panel discussion, all attendees engaged in an open debate on the question, “Is Web4.0 a concept—or the future?” Clashing perspectives catalyzed a truly profound industry-level dialogue.
This embodies precisely HTX DAO’s core intent behind hosting offline events: the value lies not in how many events are held, but in what is discussed. Rather than erecting a branded exhibition booth, HTX DAO chooses to create a space for dialogue—one where builders spark new ideas through genuine exchange.
Returning to Where the Dream Began
From March 26 to 27, HTX DAO joined forces with multiple industry KOLs for a city tour of Huizhou—blending humanistic warmth with tangible industry significance.
Huizhou is the hometown of Sun Yuchen, Global Advisor to Huobi HTX. The most important stop on this trip was his alma mater: Huizhou No. 1 Middle School. In her social media post, Molly shared a telling detail: school administrators noted that thanks to Sun Yuchen, more people now know about their institution—and students now have a more concrete role model to look up to. A group of Web3 builders traveling to a city and stepping onto a campus because of one industry leader illustrates the power of “trust”: when you consistently contribute authentically to your community and industry, that accumulated goodwill eventually gives back—whether to a school, or to the Web3 industry itself.
From Huizhou No. 1 Middle School to Peking University, and onward to deep involvement in global blockchain development, Sun Yuchen’s growth trajectory is itself a story of breakthrough and perseverance. HTX DAO’s visit to this origin point isn’t about recounting a success story—it’s a spiritual return to roots, reminding every industry participant: no matter how far you go, never forget the beliefs that set you on your path.
Doing the “Hard but Right” Things: Multidimensional Footnotes to Long-Termism
Zooming out further, this dual-city event is not an isolated occurrence—but rather a microcosm of a broader series of recent initiatives by Huobi HTX and HTX DAO.
Throughout March and April, $HTX underwent a wave of intensive empowerment, revealing a clear long-termist logic: listing on Bit2Me, Europe’s compliant platform; launching on-chain staking functionality; becoming Huobi HTX’s sole fee-offsetting token; and continuing quarterly buybacks and burns. This strategic package isn’t designed for short-term price pumping, but rather to build a sustainable token economy anchored in compliance, governance, and deflationary mechanics.
From an industry exploration perspective, Huobi HTX recently co-published the 2026 Digital Asset Trends White Paper with several leading industry media outlets. The white paper systematically outlines the global financial system’s digital migration trend, positing that “digital assets are not merely a new investment class—they constitute an emerging financial system.” Covering frontier domains such as AI × Crypto, RWAs, and modular blockchains, the white paper closely echoes the themes debated at the Shenzhen salon—where online research depth converges with offline dialogue warmth.
Examined individually, HTX’s ecosystem is pursuing three “hard but right” objectives:
First, building spaces for dialogue—not chasing quantity or traffic, but ensuring each event becomes a substantive, idea-rich industry conversation.
Second, making governance participatory—through mechanisms like staking, burning, and compliance, transforming $HTX holders into genuine stakeholders in the ecosystem, not passive observers.
Third, responding to short-term volatility with long-term action—offering trend orientation via white papers, instilling long-term confidence through token utility, and enabling authentic connection through community events.
The Next Stop: Continuing Co-Construction
While many voices in the industry still chase traffic and short-term narratives, HTX DAO has chosen a longer road—to step into communities and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with real builders. As Molly put it, the purpose of dialogue is to find kindred spirits—and industry progress is advanced precisely by those individuals, step by step.
Where will HTX DAO’s next event be held? What conversations will it spark? With whom will it forge new connections? Those answers remain unwritten.
But one thing is certain: HTX DAO will continue marching toward spring—side by side with builders.
