What is GRID?
GRID is addressing one of the biggest challenges in open-source AI: funding and commercialization.

🌐 Sentient's Mission
Sentient's mission is to ensure that artificial general intelligence (AGI) remains open source, rather than being controlled by any single entity.
Our core belief is: AGI will not be one large, monolithic model, but instead a network of numerous specialized agents.
Therefore, we are building a suite of products to enable this open-source AGI to be monetized and sustainably developed.

🚀 Introducing GRID: The World’s Largest Intelligence Network
GRID (Global Research and Intelligence Directory) is the first step toward open-source AGI—a network of agents, models, data, tools, and computing power contributed by top builders worldwide, collaborating to achieve AGI-level intelligence outcomes.
When a request is sent to GRID, it is decomposed and routed to the most suitable agents,
enhanced with information using tools like search and specialized datasets, and ultimately synthesized into an optimal result, delivering consistent, high-quality outputs to users.
This means that GRID's output represents the collective intelligence of thousands of open-source developers, not the work of a few closed teams.

💬 Sentient Chat: Your Gateway to GRID
How can you directly experience GRID?
Users can access GRID through Sentient Chat.
Sentient Chat is part of GRID, serving as a portal to a unified intelligent world.
With Sentient Chat, users can see in real time all the agents and models accessed by the system.

For builders, Sentient Chat serves as a distribution channel to reach users;
for users, it acts as a unified hub to access all agents and models across the entire GRID network.
In the future, paid access will generate revenue returns for these builder contributors.
Besides Sentient Chat, individual intelligent components within GRID (called artifacts / agent units) can also be accessed directly.
Currently, GRID includes over 110 partners, including agents, models, data sources, verifiable reasoning infrastructure, and native Sentient products such as Dobby, Model Fingerprinting, and Open Deep Search.

💰 GRID's Economic Model
GRID is solving one of the biggest challenges in open-source AI: funding and commercialization.
Sentient’s token economy drives network growth and community participation.
Token holders can stake $SENT on the agents (artifacts) they believe in.
The more staked, the larger the share of token rewards the agent receives, and stakers earn yield from this allocation.
Token distributions are also influenced by evaluations from globally recognized AI experts (reps) and weighted by actual usage and revenue, ensuring rewards flow to projects that are truly used and valued.
Through this mechanism, the community can collectively fund and scale the open-source AI ecosystem simply by using and staking.
🌍 Current GRID Ecosystem
Currently, GRID has aggregated over 110 partners:
-
50+ specialized agents
-
50+ data providers
-
6 AI models
-
10+ computing and verifiable AI infrastructure providers
-
and Sentient native products (Sentient Chat, Dobby, Model Fingerprinting, Open Deep Search)

These partners span both web2 and web3 domains, including:
Napkin (AI chart generation), Exa (LLM-powered search engine), Caldo (AI-driven people search), Kaito (crypto social data), Messari Co-Pilot (crypto insights), The Graph (blockchain indexing data), and EigenLayer (Dobby Judge AI arbitration system).
