Dragonverse Neo is developed by Mobox, a veteran team in the metaverse space. It's more than just a GameFi game—it encompasses rich concepts and aims to build an on-chain autonomous world within the Bitcoin ecosystem, offering creators and players unprecedented freedom in gameplay and asset ownership.
01 Dragonverse Architecture
Overall, Dragonverse features a three-layer architecture: the MOSE Chain as foundational gaming infrastructure, middleware enabling open-world experiences, and a UGC-powered parallel universe for end users.

1.1 The Foundation – BTC Layer3
At its base, Dragonverse runs on MOSE Chain—an L3 gaming blockchain built atop Merlin Chain, a Bitcoin Layer2 network. Its key advantages include:
-
Built for 3A Games: Delivers low-latency, high-capacity performance supporting thousands of concurrent players.
-
Reduced Gas Fees: Minimizes gas consumption during complex autonomous computations.
-
Developer Ecosystem: Offers user-friendly development tools and revenue-sharing mechanisms, empowering players to create and customize new games.
-
Node Revenue: Developers can fork flagship games and earn income from MOBOX-built titles.
1.2 The Open World – Dragonverse Neo
Built on the MOSE gaming chain, the Mobox team has created an expansive open world called Dragonverse Neo. Open-world games have grown increasingly popular—while they may feature storylines, players are no longer confined by linear narratives. Instead, like in real life, individuals follow basic rules while enjoying maximum freedom.
Dragonverse Neo offers diverse gameplay including adventure, character progression, and homesteading: players can encounter various dragon girls across the vast open world, team up to discover treasures and earn rewards;
they can also use the breeding system to nurture and customize their preferred dragon girl forms; additionally, they can build virtual homes in "Longtopia," enhancing productivity through farming and crafting, then trading items on the marketplace—adding both playability and economic incentives.

1.3 Parallel Worlds & UGC
Within Dragonverse Neo, players can access various parallel worlds from the corners of the main map. Each parallel world features unique styles and mechanics, delivering distinct gameplay experiences and reward structures.

From Minecraft’s boundless creativity to fully on-chain Autonomous Worlds, UGC (User Generated Content) remains the soul of open-ended gaming—transforming players into creators, fostering tight-knit communities, and evolving games into social platforms—all deeply aligned with Web3 principles.
The team provides a powerful 3D game editor enabling users to build their own parallel worlds. Thus, Dragonverse is a truly open world with no defined boundaries—capable of infinite expansion driven by user creativity.

More importantly, within Dragonverse, users can not only design gameplay but also craft in-game assets and economic models. They can integrate existing BRC-20/BRC-420 assets or even launch new assets on open markets—all without permission.
In this sense, Dragonverse functions more like a large-scale UGC game publishing platform, where interoperable game assets can even revitalize illiquid ones.
02 Economic Model
Given Dragonverse’s extensive framework—from the底层 MOSE Chain to end-user-facing parallel world games—the range of supported asset types is exceptionally broad. It supports and seamlessly integrates virtually any form of digital asset, including ERC-20, NFTs, BRC-20, BRC-420, etc. Excluding UGC-generated assets, there are four primary categories:
1. BRC-20: $MDBL
$MDBL is the native token of both Dragonverse Neo and the MOSE Chain.
2. ERC-20: $eMDBL
$eMDBL is a non-transferable ERC-20 token obtained via 1:1 conversion from $MDBL. Its main uses include:
a. Holding it to participate in liquidity mining and earn additional rewards such as:
-
$eMDBL
-
External assets like Merlin Chain’s $MERL token
-
Parallel world entry tickets—users can trade these or use them to enter worlds and earn in-game profits
-
MODragon Eggs, etc.
b. In-game currency usable across Dragonverse Neo for activities such as hatching MODragons using $eMDBL. Hatched MODragons grant in-game buffs and increase earnings.
c. Staking $eMDBL to create your own parallel world and earn $eMDBL rewards based on popularity
d. Staking $eMDBL along with Dragon Orbs qualifies users to become MOSE node operators and share node revenues—including earnings from projects deployed on the MOSE Chain
e. $eMDBL holders can participate in governance voting to decide on new content, game optimizations, community rewards, and ecosystem partnerships
$MDBL and $eMDBL are essentially two forms of the same token. Only $eMDBL can be used to generate in-game income. Converting back to $MDBL requires a lock-up period, though partial immediate redemption is possible by burning some $eMDBL—giving $eMDBL deflationary characteristics.
The combined maximum supply of $MDBL and $eMDBL is capped at 2,100,000,000, entirely allocated to the community—with zero allocation for the team or investors. Of this, 69% will be released via fair launch as $MDBL, and 31% will be distributed within the ecosystem as $eMDBL.
3. BRC-420: Dragon Orbs
Dragon Orbs are BRC-420 inscriptions issued by MOBOX early this year—zero royalty, free minting, fairly launched, with a total supply of 100,000. Within Dragonverse, Dragon Orbs act as catalysts for ecosystem rewards. Holding them enables users to:
Increase liquidity mining yields proportionally to the number held
Participate in node staking to earn node rewards—including asset distributions from ecosystem projects and rights to operate private game servers
Burn Dragon Orbs to hatch higher-tier MODragons, further boosting in-game and mining rewards
4. NFT: MODragon
MODragon is an ERC-721 NFT issued by Mobox on Arbitrum and 1:1 mapped to Merlin Chain. Beyond providing liquidity mining bonuses, MODragon holds strong in-game utility.
Holding a MODragon unlocks tiered privileges in-game based on its computing power, helping players achieve higher scores and rankings. It grants access to exclusive skins and functionalities in the open world, amplifying in-game earnings and rewards.
Summary table below:

If the variety of assets feels overwhelming, here are simple ways to get involved:
New Launch Participation
Participate in the fair launch to acquire $MDBL
Liquidity Mining
Hold $eMDBL to participate in liquidity mining;
Hold Dragon Orbs and MODragons to boost returns
Gameplay Experience
Hold MODragons to enjoy special privileges and enhanced in-game benefits
Game Creation
Stake $eMDBL to launch your own parallel world, earning $eMDBL rewards based on popularity, and optionally integrate or issue new assets
MOSE Chain Node Staking
Stake $eMDBL and Dragon Orbs to become a node operator, sharing node revenues and project earnings from the MOSE Chain

03 Dragonverse Summary
Two major reasons often lead GameFi projects into rapid death spirals: low entertainment value and monotonous assets. Projects that are merely "mining in disguise" cannot withstand continuous sell pressure.
Dragonverse is a UGC-centric open world with diverse formats and high gameplay potential. Its core game stands out with exceptional visuals and smooth mechanics, showing promise as both a fun game and a profitable one;
Playability is a prerequisite for user engagement—when earning becomes part of the experience rather than the sole focus, Web3 games can significantly extend their lifespan;
Meanwhile, the richness of asset types—interoperable, composable, and consumable—enables users to easily build micro-worlds and new assets, representing significant progress toward autonomous blockchain gaming ecosystems.
Beyond its intrinsic features, Dragonverse can also be evaluated through the lens of timing, positioning, and community alignment:
3.1 Timing
Since the emergence of Ordinals and BRC-20 assets last year, the Bitcoin ecosystem has seen explosive growth—generating billions in market cap within just a year. Even after the initial hype faded, the current inscription market cap remains at $2.6 billion.
Some argue that fairly launched inscriptions represent an evolution of Ethereum’s ICO era. Just as massive asset accumulation on Ethereum led to the DeFi summer boom, the growing pool of assets on Bitcoin is poised to trigger a similar ecological explosion. With BTC L2 infrastructure nearing readiness, the stage is set for ambitious projects to thrive.
The vast amount of staked assets reflects a large user base and latent liquidity. Notably, Merlin Chain recently introduced m-Tokens, mapping staked assets into liquid m-assets—freeing up capital and priming users for action.
At this moment, launching a fun, consumable, and asset-generating open world like Dragonverse provides the perfect emotional and financial outlet—making its timing ideal.
3.2 Positioning
Building a dedicated gaming blockchain isn't novel—examples include Ronin, TreasureDAO, and Xai (marketed as Arbitrum’s first Layer3). However, MOSE is the first gaming L3 on Bitcoin—this is Dragonverse’s strategic advantage: avoiding the overcrowded Ethereum L2 scene and pioneering the blue ocean of the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Mobox has been深耕the GameFi space since 2018, launching multiple hit products and building robust technical and product capabilities, along with a wealth of industry experience and a large active user base. As a proven veteran surviving multiple market cycles, Mobox is uniquely positioned to lead Bitcoin-based gaming ecosystem development.
Moreover, MOSE is built on Merlin Chain—a platform with proven reputation, strong TVL, and reliable delivery. The synergy between Mobox and Merlin accelerates product execution and adoption.
3.3 Community Alignment
Mobox’s ability to deliver products is well-documented, with extensive experience in game operations and standout performance during the last bull run—one of the few teams to persistently innovate and survive market cycles through sheer capability. But “community alignment” here extends beyond the team itself to include its user base.
“Community” is a cornerstone of Web3, especially on Bitcoin, where fair launches and meme-like inscriptions rely heavily on shared consensus.
Bitcoin hosts numerous vibrant, cohesive communities whose members are eager to create and promote content. Dragonverse offers these communities a larger stage—an interactive, immersive way to belong: by building their own parallel worlds.
Members can move beyond WeChat and Telegram groups to interact and socialize within parallel worlds. Highly active worlds receive additional $eMDBL rewards, potentially sparking a new model of community engagement.
Furthermore, Mobox takes fairness to heart: Dragon Orbs were freely and fairly launched, and have already quadrupled in value, ranking among the top 3 BRC-420 assets. $MDBL and $eMDBL are fully decentralized with no team allocation—reflecting a genuine commitment to a fair, autonomous future within the Bitcoin ecosystem.
