TechFlow, September 19 — According to the South China Morning Post, Yunfeng Financial Group, backed by Jack Ma, has appointed Jiang Guofei, former senior executive of Ant Group, as Chairman of its Web3 Development Committee.
Jiang Guofei previously served as President of Ant Digital Technologies, leading blockchain initiatives at the fintech giant. After joining Ant in 2017, he played a key role in launching Trusple, the company's blockchain-powered smart contract platform for cross-border trade. Following his departure from Ant in 2024, he served as Chief Scientist at state-owned China Electronics.
Yunfeng Financial described Jiang Guofei as one of three key figures representing the company's "strong Web3 DNA and talent pool," alongside Xiao Feng, Chairman and CEO of HashKey Group, and Liang Xinjun, Co-founder of Fosun International.
