TechFlow, September 9 - According to Reuters, citing sources familiar with the matter, Gemini has secured Nasdaq as a strategic investor, which will invest $50 million privately in Gemini at its initial public offering (IPO). Gemini plans to list on Nasdaq this week under the ticker "GEMI", aiming to raise $317 million.
As part of the collaboration, Nasdaq's clients will gain access to Gemini's custody and staking services, while Gemini's institutional clients will be able to use Nasdaq's Calypso platform for trading collateral management.
