TechFlow, August 26 — According to The Information, a new SOL treasury company called "Solana Co" has been jointly launched by Pantera Capital, Summer Capital, and two Asian strategic partners of Avenir Group.
Summer Capital, established in 2017, is one of the earliest licensed financial institutions in Asia to invest in the digital asset sector. Its portfolio includes Hashkey, Immutable, Upbit, Animoca, and others.
Avenir Group, founded by Lin Li, is a forward-looking investment group with a global vision, focusing on investments in financial innovation and frontier technologies, with operations spanning the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Yesterday, it was reported that Pantera Capital is raising $1.25 billion to acquire public companies and transform them into SOL treasury companies.
