TechFlow, Aug 19 — According to Cointelegraph, a Texas district court judge recommended supporting influencer Logan Paul's motion to dismiss the class-action lawsuit against his NFT project CryptoZoo. Judge Ronald Griffin stated that the plaintiffs failed to sufficiently demonstrate a connection between Paul and their financial losses.
Judge Griffin recommended allowing the plaintiffs to amend all but one of the 27 claims, excluding the commodity pool fraud allegation. The class-action lawsuit was filed in February 2023, accusing CryptoZoo of being a "rug pull" scheme that failed to deliver on its promises.
