TechFlow news, August 14 — According to ChainWare, Neon Machine studio announced the completion of two funding rounds totaling $19.5 million. The latest round was led by Gala Games, with existing investors Griffin Gaming Partners and Polychain Capital participating.
The studio's first-person shooter game "Shrapnel" has received approval from China's Trusted Copyright Chain, becoming the first Web3 game authorized for release on the platform. According to the development roadmap, the game will begin closed testing in the second half of 2025 and enter open beta in early 2026.
