TechFlow, August 12 — Basketball Canada has launched the Unify+ digital membership platform, powered by Berachain.
As an innovative initiative launched by a National Sport Organization (NSO), the Unify+ digital membership platform was introduced in collaboration with KDA3 to foster community spirit, strengthen national pride, and offer fans new ways to engage with Canadian basketball. Members gain exclusive access to the Canadian basketball community and content, unlocking fan-first benefits such as early access to merchandise, tickets, and interactive experiences. Unify+ members will be recognized for their contributions to the platform—such as sharing basketball content, leading discussions, and supporting local teams—without needing to purchase tokens or complete complex digital tasks.
Unify+ will also serve as a key platform supporting the next generation of Canadian basketball. The platform conducted a pilot launch on August 4 during the Under-15 National Championship, where fans and athletes’ families could watch games, check scores, and follow provincial team progress on Unify+. Youth members and parents who register on the platform have a chance to win tickets to the "Homecoming Night" event sponsored by Unify+ on August 13. Hosted by Unify+, the "Homecoming Night" event will feature numerous world-class basketball stars, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, RJ Barrett, Dillon Brooks, Lu Dort, Andrew Nembhard, and Olympians Shay Colley, Yvonne Ejim, Sami Hill, Syla Swords, and others.
