TechFlow news, August 11 — According to Zhitong Caijing, FUTU Financial Technology (FTFT.US) today announced that its wholly-owned Hong Kong subsidiary, FUTU International Securities & Futures Limited, has officially signed a commission agreement with a well-known Hong Kong compliance consultant. The consultant will assist the company in applying to the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) for a Virtual Asset Service Provider license (VASP) and a Type 9 asset management license, based on the company's existing Type 1, Type 2, and Type 4 licenses. The application aims to cover both traditional and virtual asset management businesses. The consultant will conduct a detailed review and assessment of the company's business model and risk management capabilities, and assist in preparing relevant application documents and business plans for submission to the SFC.
