TechFlow news, on July 31, Kaia announced the extension of the FNSA to KAIA token swap period until September 30, 2025. Operations of the Finschia chain will also be terminated on September 30.
Users can complete the swap by visiting the Kaia portal, selecting FNSA → KAIA, connecting their Finschia wallet, entering their KAIA receiving address and the number of tokens, and submitting the swap request to automatically receive KAIA tokens.
After September 30, all swap functionality will be permanently disabled, the Finschia chain infrastructure will be shut down, and no compensation or support will be provided for any unclaimed FNSA tokens. Users who have not yet swapped are urged to complete the process as soon as possible.
Previously, Kaia was formed by the merger of Kakao's Klaytn chain and LINE's Finschia chain. Its mainnet officially launched on August 29, 2024, and the FNSA → KAIA token swap service went live in August 2024.
