TechFlow News, July 16, according to Cointelegraph, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) seized over $10 million in cryptocurrency linked to Mexico's Sinaloa Cartel during a joint operation in Miami, Florida. This seizure is part of a nationwide crackdown on drug trafficking activities in the United States.
Acting DEA Administrator Robert Murphy stated that they are gradually dismantling these criminal networks. The Sinaloa Cartel is designated by the U.S. government as one of six Mexican "terrorist" drug trafficking organizations, primarily engaged in the distribution of drugs such as cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine.
