According to Jinshi Data, four departments—the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the National Radio and Television Administration—recently issued a notice on organizing the recommendation of exemplary metaverse cases for 2025. The recommended cases include typical metaverse digital human cases, typical metaverse product cases, typical metaverse park cases, and typical metaverse standard cases. The applying entity must hold independent intellectual property rights over the creativity, products, technologies, and related patents of the submitted case, with no intellectual property disputes. For digital human cases, the applicant must possess full intellectual property rights over the virtual character involved or have obtained lawful authorization from the rights holder. Submitted cases should demonstrate high technical proficiency and complete practical implementation, showing strong representativeness, innovation, and scalability, offering significant reference value and promotion potential for relevant industries or enterprises.
