TechFlow news, June 26 — According to Cointelegraph, cryptocurrency exchange Kraken announced it has obtained a Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) license from the Central Bank of Ireland, enabling the exchange to offer regulated services across all 30 member states of the European Economic Area.
"We believe trust is the most valuable currency in crypto, and it must be earned through action," said Kraken Co-CEO Arjun Sethi. This approval marks another key milestone following Kraken's acquisition of a Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) license in February this year and an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license in 2023.
