TechFlow, June 24 — HashKey Exchange, Hong Kong's largest licensed virtual asset exchange, has been awarded the "Fintech Platform Provider of the Year (Cryptocurrency)" at the Bloomberg Businessweek/Chinese Edition’s “Financial Institutions 2025” annual awards, in recognition of its outstanding performance in the cryptocurrency sector. HashKey Exchange is the first and only virtual asset exchange to receive this honor, highlighting its comprehensive strength in regulatory compliance, institutional-grade services, and market influence.

Since its inception, HashKey Exchange has achieved steady growth in performance. In 2024, the platform recorded over HK$10 billion in accumulated deposits and total trading volume exceeding HK$600 billion, representing an annual growth rate of approximately 85%. In the first quarter of 2025, its over-the-counter (OTC) block trading (OPT) business saw year-on-year growth surpassing 400%. Additionally, as of June 2025, the platform supports bank transfers from 32 countries and regions and has added multiple new currency channels, including offshore renminbi (CNH) and euro (EUR), significantly enhancing its service capabilities.
The “Financial Institutions 2025” awards are organized by Bloomberg Businessweek/Chinese Edition.
