TechFlow news, June 19 — Iranian cryptocurrency exchange Nobitex has issued a security incident announcement confirming that the platform suffered a hacker attack affecting approximately $100 million in assets. Nobitex's technical team has cut off all external server access and proactively transferred funds from hot wallets to protect user assets. The attacker used non-standard addresses to destroy user assets, differing from conventional exchange hacking patterns. Nobitex stated that user assets will be fully covered by the platform's reserve fund, resulting in no losses. However, due to national internet outages and emergency conditions, platform recovery and support services may take an extended period.
