TechFlow news, June 18 — Iranian cryptocurrency exchange Nobitex has today issued a security incident notice confirming it was hacked, with some hot wallet assets affected. The pro-Israel hacker group "Gonjeshke Darande" (Predatory Sparrow) has claimed responsibility for the attack and threatened to release Nobitex's source code and internal information within 24 hours.
Nobitex stated that users' assets held in cold storage remain secure, and pledged full compensation for losses using its insurance fund and platform resources. The platform's website and applications have been temporarily taken offline pending a comprehensive investigation by its security team.
