TechFlow, May 22 — Cetus Protocol announced late on May 22 that it had suffered a hacker attack, resulting in approximately $223 million stolen. The team has immediately taken action to lock contracts and prevent further losses, successfully freezing $162 million of the stolen funds.
Cetus is actively collaborating with the Sui Foundation and other ecosystem members to seek solutions for recovering the remaining stolen assets. The official statement emphasized that this incident is their top priority and promised to release a full incident report later.
