TechFlow news, May 21 — According to TechinAsia, generative AI studio Promise has announced a partnership with Google to integrate Google's AI technology into its production pipelines and Muse workflow software. The collaboration will also involve researchers from Google's DeepMind.
The Andreessen Horowitz (a16z)-backed startup has secured additional investment from the Google AI Futures Fund, Crossbeam Venture Partners, and North Road Company led by former News Corp president Peter Chernin.
Founded by George Strompolos, Jamie Byrne, and Dave Clark, Promise aims to leverage generative AI tools to help Hollywood studios reduce production costs and accelerate content creation, and is currently working with industry stakeholders to develop long-term content initiatives.
