TechFlow news, May 20 — GoPlus Security today warned that a dangerous phishing scam has emerged as thousands of users enable EIP-7702 smart accounts following the Pectra upgrade. Contract code analysis reveals that once authorized, the malicious Delegator address (0x930fcc37d6042c79211ee18a02857cb1fd7f0d0b) will automatically redirect ETH from users' accounts to the scammer's wallet. Security experts advise users to only authorize EIP-7702 functionality through official wallet applications, never click on "upgrade" options in external links or emails, and always verify contract source code.
