TechFlow, May 17 — According to Cointelegraph, cryptocurrency analyst and host of "The Wolf of All Streets" podcast Scott Melker said it is "entirely possible" for bitcoin's price to reach $250,000 by the end of 2025. He pointed out that the continuous inflow of institutional capital and declining volatility are key factors driving bitcoin's price increase.
Melker emphasized that bitcoin's volatility has significantly decreased, dropping from three times the volatility of the S&P 500 index in the past to less than double. He believes participation by pension funds and exchange-traded fund (ETF) issuers indicates a maturing market, while Coinbase entering the top 50 constituents of the S&P 500 index marks further integration of the crypto industry into the mainstream financial system.
