TechFlow news, May 17 — According to an official announcement by Nyan Heroes, due to its latest product failing to reach the expected user scale and compounded by current challenging conditions in the Web3 market environment, the project was unable to secure sufficient funding to sustain studio operations, leading to the final decision to cease operations.
It is reported that Nyan Heroes garnered over 250,000 player reservations on both Epic and Steam platforms, with more than one million players participating across four testing events. The game had previously ranked on Epic Games' trending and most-played charts and received coverage from mainstream media outlets such as IGN, Business Insider, and Game Rant.
Despite extensive discussions regarding publishing deals, new investments, grants, and acquisition opportunities, the team ultimately failed to raise the necessary funds to complete game development.
