TechFlow, May 12 — According to Cointelegraph, hardware wallet company Ledger has confirmed the security of its Discord server after an attacker conducted a scam by compromising an administrator's account.
The attacker used the account to post false information about a security vulnerability and lured users into verifying their seed phrases through phishing links, thereby stealing user assets. Ledger urges users to remain vigilant and avoid clicking on suspicious links or disclosing sensitive information.
