TechFlow news, May 11 — Lido stated on social media that the Lido DAO has initiated an emergency proposal to replace Chorus One's single Lido oracle node due to a suspected leak of Chorus One's oracle private key.
Staking users are unaffected; the protocol remains secure and operational. Lido's oracle system uses a 5-out-of-9 multi-signature mechanism, meaning a single oracle failure does not compromise the system, and the other nodes remain unaffected.
- The oracle system is functioning normally with no software or data anomalies detected;
- The other eight oracle nodes have been inspected and none were compromised;
- No evidence indicates that Chorus One has suffered a broader attack.
