TechFlow news, May 7 — According to a warning from SlowMist founder @evilcos, there has been a recent wave of targeted phishing attacks against key figures in the cryptocurrency community. Attackers are using fake Zoom meeting links combined with deepfake technology to create realistic video conference scenarios, tricking victims into downloading malicious software. Once the attacker gains control of the victim's device, they may steal cryptocurrency assets or gain unauthorized access to cloud platforms. Users are advised to carefully verify whether meeting links originate from official domains (zoom.com or zoom.us) and remain vigilant against such scams.
