TechFlow news, May 3 — According to Cryptonews, Avraham "Avi" Eisenberg, the attacker behind the Mango Markets hack, has been sentenced to over four years in federal prison by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York for possessing illicit photos and videos involving children. Court documents show that Eisenberg admitted to downloading nearly 1,300 files of such material between 2017 and 2022. The content was discovered when he was arrested in connection with the Mango Markets attack.
Previous report, Solana-based DeFi platform Mango Markets suffered a hack in October 2022, resulting in over $100 million in bad debt.
