TechFlow, April 30 — According to Chainwire, blockchain mapping platform ROVR Network has announced the completion of a $2.6 million seed funding round led by Borderless Capital and GEODNET, with participation from investors including IoTeX.
ROVR Network is reported to be the first decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) combining LiDAR and real-time kinematic (RTK) positioning technology, enabling centimeter-level precise street mapping. Guang Ling, founder of ROVR Network, said the funds will accelerate global expansion, hardware deployment, and community-driven data collection. The project has expanded its team across North America, Asia, and Europe, and opened a new office in Silicon Valley, where it will co-locate with GEODNET to strengthen protocol-level collaboration.
