TechFlow news, April 24 — According to CoinDesk, Celyn Armstrong, Chief Legal Officer and Head of Compliance at crypto market maker Portofino Technology, has departed the firm.
Armstrong previously worked at law firms including Dentons and Linklaters before joining Portofino, and served over six years at the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The Swiss company said last month it was considering opening new offices in New York and Singapore. Portofino, founded in 2021 by former Citadel Securities executives Leonard Lancia and Alex Casimo, reportedly completed a $50 million equity funding round by the end of 2022.
