TechFlow news, April 16 — According to Decrypt, on April 16, 2025, metaverse technology company Futureverse announced the acquisition of digital collectibles platform Candy Digital. The deal amount was not disclosed. This acquisition gives Futureverse access to Candy Digital's 4 million digital collectibles and 1.5 million user accounts, as well as partnerships with blue-chip brands such as Netflix, DC Comics, and MLB. Futureverse was founded at the end of 2022 and raised $54 million in a Series A round in 2023, achieving a valuation of approximately $1 billion.
