TechFlow news, April 2 — John, Chief Contributor of the gaming ecosystem Treasure DAO, announced the termination of game operations and Treasure Chain due to deteriorating financial conditions.
Reportedly, the project's annual operating expenses reach as high as $8.3 million, while the current treasury holds only $2.4 million, which was originally expected to last until July 2025. Operations could optimistically extend to February 2026 if $785,000 held idly by market maker Flowdesk is reclaimed. Additionally, the ecosystem fund holds 22.3 million MAGIC (worth $2.3 million), but if MAGIC prices plummet, the DAO may become unsustainable between December this year and February next year.
