TechFlow news, April 1 — According to on-chain security firm Cyvers Alerts (@CyversAlerts), the UPCX project (@Upcxofficial) suffered a security incident. The hacker accessed the address 0x4C....3583E, upgraded the "ProxyAdmin" contract, and executed the "withdrawByAdmin" function, transferring approximately 18.4M UPC tokens (worth about $70 million) from three different admin accounts. All stolen funds currently remain in the address 0xFf7....334, with no exchange activity detected so far. The UPCX official team has confirmed the incident and issued a statement noting "unauthorized activity has been detected."
