In its statement, LY Corporation noted that its subsidiary, LINE NEXT Inc., operates a Web3 platform and launched the global Dapp Portal service on January 22, 2025, based on LINE Messenger and the Kaia blockchain. While Soneium may be leveraging open platform features provided by LY Corporation, this does not constitute a formal business partnership between the two parties. LY Corporation made this clarification to prevent market misunderstandings.
