TechFlow news, on March 22, Lin Chen, Head of Asia-Pacific Business at Deribit, stated that the Bitcoin Volatility Index (DVOL) has dropped below 50, with the current value at 47. According to her, over the past year, DVOL has been higher than the current level 96% of the time, reaching a high of 92 and a low of 41.
Lin Chen analyzed that the significant decline in volatility indicates a broad market consensus that Bitcoin is unlikely to experience substantial declines or gains in the short term, suggesting an upcoming period of sideways consolidation.
