TechFlow reported on March 19 that, according to CoinDesk, blockchain project EOS Network has officially announced its rebranding as Vaulta, marking a strategic shift focused on Web3 banking. The transformation includes a token swap initiative and the establishment of a banking advisory council.
Vaulta plans to conduct the token swap by the end of May 2025 (pending confirmation) and has formed the Vaulta Banking Advisory Council, composed of experts from the finance and blockchain industries, aimed at bridging traditional banking with decentralized systems. Advisory members include executives from Systemic Trust, Tetra, and ATB Financial.
Vaulta will retain the original technical infrastructure of EOS Network, including its smart contract architecture, decentralized database, and cross-chain connectivity capabilities. The project will also integrate with exSat, a Bitcoin-based digital banking solution, and collaborate with institutions such as Ceffu, Spirit Blockchain, and Blockchain Insurance to expand its Web3 banking ecosystem.
