TechFlow news, March 12 — According to CME's "Fed Watch" data, with only eight days remaining until the next FOMC interest rate decision announcement at 2:00 a.m. Beijing time on March 20, market expectations indicate a 96% probability that the Federal Reserve will hold rates steady in March, while the probability of a 25-basis-point rate cut stands at just 4%.
The market assigns only a 1.5% probability to a cumulative 50-basis-point rate cut by May, a 38.3% probability to a cumulative 25-basis-point cut, and a 60.2% probability to no change in the current interest rate level.
