TechFlow news, on March 7, Nallo, co-founder of MetaDAO, a governance project in the Solana ecosystem, posted saying, "Regarding SIMD-0228 improvement proposal, I believe we are witnessing incorrect values here. We should focus on dynamic base fees (computational and network costs). Inflation should be controlled through direct payments to attract stake.
While I'm pleased by the interest in SIMD-0228, I don't think this is where our focus should be. I believe it will likely achieve its goal, but probably not at the scale it hopes for.
If people want to see this happen, I suggest reducing the impact by half. We can always revisit it later; considering implementation may take some time, we can be highly confident it will proceed as expected, and if necessary, we could further accelerate it through future proposals."
