TechFlow reported on March 3 that crypto investigator ZachXBT disclosed in his personal channel that after the announcement of the U.S. Crypto Reserves initiative, investors should be aware that XRP addresses linked to Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen still hold over 2.7 billion XRP (approximately $7.18 billion). These addresses associated with Larsen transferred more than $109 million worth of XRP to exchanges in January 2025.
ZachXBT listed six dormant addresses activated by Chris Larsen, noting that several of these addresses had been inactive for 6–7 years, suggesting that Larsen may have lost access or transferred the funds to someone else back in February 2013. ZachXBT also mentioned that Larsen was hacked last year, losing around $112 million.
